Water-based floor paint is a new type of environmentally friendly film-forming floor paint with water as the dispersion medium. The advantages of water-based floor paint are obvious when compared with epoxy floor paint. Water-based floor paint can be applied in a humid environment. As long as there is no standing water on the ground, a relatively high air humidity will not affect the construction of water-based floor paint. It has a good one-way air permeability function, allowing water vapor to escape through the paint film into the air without causing the film to bulge; however, water vapor on the ground cannot penetrate downward. This characteristic is not possessed by ordinary paints and epoxy floor paints. Water-based floor paint can be applied in dark and humid environments without worrying about affecting the construction quality of the floor, making it suitable for construction and paving in places such as basements, bathrooms, steam rooms, and underground garages.
